No, that's NOT icing you see on those apples, it's coconut butter!

Coconut butter is a naturally sweet product made from coconut flesh and one of my favorite things to eat when I'm trying to tame the sugar-dragons.

It's a bit hard to eat by itself (doesn't keep me from trying though!), but drizzled on some apples like this? Heaven.

Ingredients Needed

It's just 3 ingredients, and suitable for the Paleo Diet, AIP Diet, and Whole30.

• an apple

• cinnamon

• coconut butter

How to make this quick 1-minute snack

A snack (or dessert) like this doesn't get much easier.

You simply slice an apple, sprinkle it with some cinnamon, and then drizzle it with some melted coconut butter. Easy peasy.

Cinnamon Apple Snack (Paleo, AIP, Whole30)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Apple
  • pinch Cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Coconut Butter

Instructions
 

  • Slice the apple into thin half-moons.
  • Melt the coconut butter in the microwave (just a few seconds is needed) or in a pan filled with hot water.
  • Sprinkle the apple slices with the cinnamon and then drizzle with coconut butter. Serve!
